Here’s a classic bbq recipe that you can find being sold along the roadsides in Hawaii. Apparently it was originally grilled between two grates and the grates were repeatedly turned over the hot coals. Since huli is the Hawaiian word for turn, it became known as huli huli chicken. We served it with Hawaiian style macaroni salad, slaw and “2 scoop rice”.

Sometimes we just feel like throwing some fish and veggies on the grill when it’s too hot to cook inside. This simple salmon recipe was glazed with sugar, vinegar, and some soy sauce, and grilled alongside sweet onions, red peppers, and some bok choy just for fun. Healthy, fast, and everyone loved it!
